432 W Francis (Hallet House)

Originally constructed as a hand built log cabin in 1885, the Hallat House received alterations in additions in 1892. The updates reflected the other houses built during the development of mining in Aspen. The structure features a large wrap around porch. Part of the management team at Smuggler Mine, S.L. Hallat, was an early occupant of the house.
