328 W Main
Originally built as the home of David Brunton, partner in Taylor and Brunton Sampling Works Company, which was established in 1890 to provide Aspen with ore handling and marketing. The structure signifies the evolution of Aspen from a mining camp into a complex society, representing the lifestyle of an upper-class family during the period. The elaborate gingerbread detailing of the porch is more unusual than most, with turned posts and fancy brackets worked into a lattice.
